Peter was a visionary who recognised the need for education for GPs in dermatological disease which blighted so many lives. He encouraged the formation of a charity to further such education led by and developed by interested GPs and supported initially by ethical and arms length funding and secretarial support. He was determined to preserve the independence of the Primary Care Dermatology Society sometimes to the irritation of business colleagues! We are grateful that, through his actions, he contributed significantly to the relief of suffering by our skin disease patients.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
